Structure of the Degree

The proposed postgraduate programme includes two common compulsory modules adding up 30 ECTS, whose contents have been designed to be taught with on line lessons.

The common modules (30 ECTS) are:

MODULE 1: INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND DATA ANALYTICS;

MODULE 2: CONNECTED INDUSTRY.

  • They will take place in the first semester and include courses that will develop contents on the main digital enabling technologies applied to different sectors, such as Internet of Things (  IoT), Big Data, Artificial Intelligence or Blockchain, and the processes of digital transformation in organizations.

Other 20 ECTS credits would be different for each pathway-module, organized in two subjects (Digitalization of the value chain and regulation of companies within the sector and Digitalization and Innovation Projects of companies within the sector) with the specific contents for the digitalization of the different main productive sectors of Andalusia.

  • The pathways are: ENERGY SECTOR, AGRI-FOOD SECTOR, HEALTH SECTOR and TOURISM SECTOR, therefore, the total number of elective modules offered is 4. Each student, depending on his preference for one of these activity areas, will choose a pathway and its corresponding 2 courses, which form part of a model of alternating training. In this way, the credits would be included in specific modules in which most of the competencies will be acquired in the company/entity, the evaluation of them being carried out jointly between academic faculty and company managers. These pathways will be developed in the second semester.

The 60 ECTS credits will be completed with 10 ECTS corresponding to the Master’s Thesis. The Master’s Thesis will be developed throughout the second semester during the student's stay in the company/entity where he/she carries out his/her dual training, and this will be the final aim of this training.
