Call for distribution of grants for international mobility from Al-Aqsa University and The Islamic University of Gaza to the University of Almeria within the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA-171 program during the academic year 2024/25

The Universidad de Almeria is offering 10 grants to support students from our partner universities interested in studying for a semester at Almería

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Amount of the Grant: 850€ per month, for 5 months, plus travel allowance (see page 2 of the call, below)

Applicants’ Requirements:

· Must be Undergraduate students currently enrolled at Al-Aqsa University or the Islamic University of Gaza.

•    Islamic University of Gaza applicants must be in their last year of study, meaning that the remaining credit hours for graduation is equal or less than 35 hours but more than 8 hours.

•    Al-Aqsa University applicants must be in their third or last year of study, meaning that the remaining credit hours for graduation is between 30-60 hours.

· Can be currently be living inside or outside Gaza.

· Must have at least an English and/or Spanish B2 level of language certificate.

· Must be students of a program of Business (Accounting, Economy, Management, or Marketing), Engineering (Agriculture, Computers, Electric/Electronic, or Mechanics), Nursing (only last year students in need of Practicums/Internships in order to graduate) or English studies.

· Must have a GPA of 80% or higher.

· Must not have enjoyed a previous Erasmus+ grant for more than 7 months.

· Selected grant holders must submit to UAL before July 1st 2024 a valid passport with an expiration date no earlier than February 7th 2025. If they fail to do so, their grant will be reallocated to the next person in the waiting list.
