The fact that a subject has prerequisites means that there are one or more requirements that the student must meet to be enrolled or assessed, such as having previously passed a subject or having exceeded a certain number of credits in the past.
The Curriculum may include special conditions that need to be fulfilled to enrol in or study some of the subjects. These conditions are the PREREQUISITES AND COREQUISITES: A subject, or set of them, termed "llave" (key), that must have been taken or passed previously (prerequisites); or subjects, or set of them, that must be taken simultaneously (corequisites).
