Professional opportunities

img_7103005.jpgWith the disappearance of the 3-year undergraduate teaching degrees in the various specialisations and the consequent reduction in Early-Childhood Education and Primary Education degrees, future specialisation must be aimed at people with special educational needs in the formal education field and disability care in the non-formal education field, requiring one to study the Master’s in Special Education. The curriculum is professionally-oriented in the inclusive context of socio-educational services, giving specialised training to future disability-care professionals so that they can provide an effective socio-educational response in both personal and institutional settings.

In addition to the specialisation, it will provide tools that allow one to enter research in these knowledge areas from the perspective of giving individual counselling in specific cases to the socio-professional advice given for institutions and services. Accordingly, this is a specialisation profile aimed at pedagogues, psychologists, psychopedagogues, speech therapists, social workers, social educators, education professionals and other support professionals working in the Special Education field.
