Description
MATHICS project aims at strengthening the relations between Moroccan higher education institutions (HEIs) and the wider economic & social environment, by introducing new ICTs in the teaching of mathematics in Morocco. The goal is to modernize the education system (both teaching & learning) and provide a new vision of mathematics in that country to get results as higher success rates of students or improve the teacher’s knowledge.
Although the implementation of ICTs requires new infrastructure and tech equipment, everything is included in project’s budget, demonstrating its ambition.
In addition, this project will train teachers with ICTs innovation courses, showing them how to create useful mathematics e-learning content, use advanced hardware/software and the most important value: know how to implement all the new knowledge to their daily classes.
