BERC project is based in a network of academic research institutes with a reliable path in business research. All partners have a specific strength in each field. This project was created to give a solution to the shortage in publications in international journals. In addition, some other dimensions need to be improved: International publication (publish research articles on business and economic sciences), International academic ranking (improve quantity and quality of research), Quality & Standards of business research, Sustainable research platform (for sharing studies).

BERC objectives are:

• to develop and reinforce quality standards for business and economics research centers of Palestinian Higher Institutions,
• to develop international partnerships for networking activities among the business and economics research centers;
• to promote alignment and optimization of undergraduate and postgraduate programs with respect to the strategic research clusters;
• to tackle societal challenges and developing innovative solutions through engage in long term collaborative research projects.

BERC also introduces quality assurance standards and guidelines in business scientific research, and is a reference platform for young researchers, students and professors.
