Structure of the Degree

This Master's, divided into two semester of 30 ECTS each one, is organised in 4 modules:

  • Module 1. Basic concepts of didactic evaluation and classroom research (18 ECTS); 
  • Module 2. Didactic evaluation (21 ECTS); 
  • Module 3. Initiation to Didactic Research (9 ECTS- 18 ECTS offered); 
  • Module 4. Master’s Thesis (12 ECTS).

 

The curriculum of this Master's has 60 ECTS distributed in 4 modules: 18 ECTS of Basic Training, 21 ECTS of Compulsory Training, 9 ECTS to be chosen among 18 elective ECTS and 12 ECTS corresponding to a Master’s Thesis. These modules are: 

  • Module 1. Basic concepts of didactic evaluation and classroom research of 18 ECTS. The basic concepts of evaluation, understood as an element to promote the development of the professional competence of the teacher, and the didactic research aimed at improving the learning in the classroom, are presented. In this module, students will acquire the basics of didactic evaluation, an overview of research methodology and procedures for producing and reporting research results. 
  • Module 2. Didactic evaluation, with 21 ECTS. From the different didactics, a deepening of the evaluation process is carried out, understood as an important element for the improvement of the teaching-learning process and the resulting impact on the professional development of the teacher. 
  • Module 3. Initiation to didactic research, with 18 ECTS. It is composed of elective subjects, among which students will choose 9 ECTS that share a research-oriented approach in specific didactics. 
  • Module 4. Master’s Thesis of 12 ECTS, will include the acquired competencies.
