The Master's comprises 60 ECTS, which are structured in a compulsory module, two elective modules, between which students may choose one, and the Master’s Thesis.
The Module 1, Theory of Social Communication, comprises 21 ECTS that must be compulsorily taken. This module study in-depth the elements of the different disciplines included in the Social Communication field, so that they serve as platform for the development of a professional or researcher pathway.
The Module 2, Communication in socio-professional contexts, comprises 33 ECTS credits. It has a professional nature, for this reason 6 ECTS of work placement are included in this module. Registration in this module is incompatible with registration in Module 3.
The Module 3, Keys for Research on Social Communication, has 33 ECTS credits. It has an initiation to research orientation, for this reason, internships is not included and, however, a research methodology subject is included. Registration in this module in incompatible with registration in Module 2.
The Module 4, Master’s Thesis. General description: The Master’s Thesis will vary depending on the module (socio-professional or research).
