Logo voluntariado UAL_FINAL.png

This programme aims to raise awareness among students through their participation in international volunteering projects and actions related to Development Cooperation. It aims to be a transformative platform, where volunteers not only offer their help, but also expand their horizons and build bridges of global solidarity.

Financial support up to a maximum of Eur 2,000 per activity. The final number of grants awarded and the amount may vary depending on the country of destination and the duration of the activity.

The voluntary activity will be carried out for a minimum of 21 days and a maximum of 90 days.

Call for applications opens annually in June-July.

There are two ways of participation:

- Through Development Cooperation Organisations (NGDOs). Applicants will submit a proposal for a host organisation and a volunteering plan.

- Through participating in one of the International Cooperation Projects managed by the University of Almeria.  The details of the stay will be agreed with the project coordinator.

For each call, the voluntary activitycan take place during the academic year or the summer months. Stays may be recognised as academic credits.
