- Module 7: ADVANCED MODERN LANGUAGE.
- Module 8: BACHELOR'S DEGREE CONTEXTS, PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTS AND BACHELOR'S DISSERTATION.
Timing planning of the modules:
The Bachelor's Degree is structured in eight semesters, each of them has 30 ECTS.
The basic training established in the R.D. 1393/2007 complies with the agreements of the Andalusian Council of Universities, under which it is established that 36 ECTS will be assigned to the Art, Philosophy, Geography, History, Language, Classical language, Linguistics and Literature subjects, without being required that appear all of them.
In any case, as a result of this agreement, 12 ECTS will be assigned to MODERN LANGUAGE subjects.
The remaining 12 ECTS credits, up to the 60 ECTS credits required for basic training, will be chosen by each University in compliance with the terms of the aforementioned R.D., and also with the agreement of the Andalusian Council of Universities.
In accordance with the decision of the Andalusian Council of Universities, the Bachelor's Degree in Humanities has the following modules:
- Historical Foundations and Critical Analysis (48 ECTS)
- Language and Communication (42 ECTS)
- Cultural Manifestations (30 ECTS)
- Landscape and Territory Sciences (18 ECTS)
- Society Sciences and Thought (12ECTS)
- Bachelor's Dissertation (6 ECTS)
- REMARKS ON MODERN LANGUAGES.
Modern Languages
- This bachelor's degree has a compulsory training programme for its students in a language other than Spanish. For this purpose, students may choose one of the languages offered in the degree or any other language that the Faculty of Humanities may plan for this study within the language offer of the Centre. In any case, students will always acquire the competencies and obtain the equivalent learning results in the language of their choice.
- It will be always taken into account that it will not be possible to enroll in one modern language for basic training and another for core training.
- Although the seventh generic competence of the University of Almeria establishes the acquisition of B1 level of the European Framework of Reference, this degree establishes that the completion of the 24 ECTS cycle composed of the courses MODERN LANGUAGE and ADVANCED MODERN LANGUAGE allows to reach a level of maximum instrumental command equivalent to B2+ of the aforementioned framework. The maximum equivalent levels for each of the languages are described in the corresponding subject description.

CLASSICAL TRADITION AND LITERATURE.
In the Language and Communication module, there are four compulsory subjects linked to the study of Classical Tradition (Classical Tradition and Literature: Rhetoric and Poetry Reception, Classical Tradition and Literature: Mythology Reception, Classical Tradition and Literature: Gender Reception, Classical Tradition and Literature: Theatre Reception).
- Elective. Students of this bachelor's degree may complete their elective academic load:
- a) Taking the elective subjectsincluded in this report.
- b) Proving their participation in cultural, sports, student representation, supportive and collaborative activities as it is set out in article 12.8 of the Royal Decree 1393/2007 with the limits established in such regulations, and in accordance with the procedure established in the Credit Recognition and Transfer Rules of the University of Almeria. The subjects that can be recognized are those indicated later in this report.

- According to the Andalusian Council of Universities, the degree will have 6 ECTS intended for the realization of internships in companies or, where appropriate, to expand as academic content certain knowledge that may be necessary for the future performance of its students.
- In accordance also with the Andalusian Council of Universities, the degree will have 6 ECTS intended for the preparation and defense of the Bachelor's Dissertation.
- The above three elements have been unified into a module called Degree Contexts, Professional Environments, and Bachelor's Dissertation.
The present bachelor's degree plans to offer Internships to its students, however, and with a subsidiary character to them, will offer the subjects Historical Heritage Management as an alternative and guarantee to any eventuality that could harm or prevent the student from taking the Internships. The above mentioned subject will have a linked content and competencies adapted to the knowledge that the student might acquire with internships.
