In the academic year 2023-24, the language level requirement is introduced according to the MCERL of Spanish for non-English speaking students in the case of admission to the University Master’s Degree offered only in Spanish: "If the university degree granting access to the master’s degree has been obtained in an educational system whose official language is not Spanish, a knowledge of the Spanish language at level B1 must be accredited, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, before the date set for each Admission Phase. Those who can prove Spanish nationality or a Spanish speaking country will be exempt from this requirement".
The University Master's in the Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Services by the University of Almeria aims to train professionals with an environmental profile framed in the leading paradigms, methodologies and techniques of environmental research and management.

- Provides students with advanced and innovative knowledge about the causes, components and disturbances related to the functioning of the Earth system, as well as the tools and methodology for their study, monitoring and impact mitigation.
- Provides multi-disciplinary learning under the sustainable-use paradigm so that, at the end of their studies, students have solid training that will enable them to successfully manage their professional career in various work sectors related to sustainable natural resources management.
