The Master’s degrees may be configured so that the student can end up graduating in a specific specialisation. Such specialisations may receive different names, although the most common are those of "Specialisation" or "Curricular pathway".

It is not compulsory to take one of the specialties indicated.

These three itineraries are not mandatory linear follow-up for students who enrol in the master’s degree, and may choose not to receive a specialisation by enrolling transversely among the different pathways of the master's. In this case, the student will not receive a mention to the specialty followed.
