Structure of the Degree

The Master in Environmental Education is organised in three modules: Common, Specific and Application, in addition to a initial module of complementary training aimed at students who come from social degrees, such as Education Sciences, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Social Education, etc.. For the last two modules, two pathways are established, one oriented for the professional practice of Environmental Education, and other related with the educational research field.

Theinitial module: complementary training (4 ECTS), provides the necessary training for students who come from social field’s degrees, such as Education Sciences, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Social Education, etc.

The Common Module (28 ECTS) provides the fundamental training for the student, and takes place during the first semester.

The specific module (12 ECTS), is composed of the courses included in both training pathways of this Master. Each training pathway is justified by taking into account the two profiles to which it is oriented, one of a professional character and another researcher. Students must choose one of these two pathways in the second semester.

The practical module will consist of 20 ECTS, distributed between the work placement and the Master’s Thesis that will be developed during the second semester.
