Call for AECID Projects
Within the framework of the V Plan Director de la Cooperación Española, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (abbreviated to AECID in Spanish) publishes a yearly call for grants covering two types of projects:
- Cooperation actions in the field of innovation, which address social, economic, environmental and development challenges related to Agenda 2030. The projects should promote innovative solutions that have already been developed and successfully tested at the pilot scale, the aim being to implement them and assess their reproducibility on a larger scale in Spanish Cooperation Partner countries.
- Knowledge activities in the field of innovation, including research and applied studies together with training and/or seminars, always with an innovative component.
Call for applications opens annually about May.
Due to the limited number of proposals that can be submitted, the University of Almeria opens a prior internal call to preselect projects.
These projects are cofinanced by UAL to the amount of Eur 7,500 for cooperation actions, and Eur 5,000 for knowledge activities, funded through Programme IV of UAL's International Cooperation Plan (PPCI).
