Grants for Refugees and Asylum Seekers
Aware of the current situation of refugees and asylum seekers coming from conflict areas, the University of Almería annyually calls for the following grants:
MODALITY 1
Tuition fees grant for undergraduate, masters or PhD studies at UAL. Minimum required pass rate: 60% each term.
MODALITY 2
Living support for studying in Almería. There are two options:

Accommodation in a shared double room at the uni Residence Civitas for the academic year, starting in September, and including weekday meals. (Please note most info. can only be found in the Spanish version of the site).

Financial support to live in Almería for the academic year, starting in September and covering up to 10 months. If you opt for this modality, you will need to provide us with documentary evidence of your place of residence in Almería during the academic year (only if your application is successful and once you are given the scholarship).
MODALITY 3
Tuition fees grant for attending Spanish language classes at UAL's Centro de Lenguas during the academic year. It includes up to 120 teaching hours, training materials and registration fees for an Official Spanish Language Certification Test. There are morning and afternoon options to choose from. Minimum assistance requirement: 80% of total hours.
